How to add info from an IMAGE (photo) of ticket to Apple Wallet

I have been texted a photo of my ticket, how do I transfer that (info) into Apple Wallet? Assuming in this fabulous AI enhanced world we can achieve this now… can't we?

iPhone 15, iOS 18

No, for security and safety purposes you cannot add a photo of a ticket to your Wallet. You can add a photo to the Notes app or Photos App. Ticket issuers require that you use their website or mobile app to add tickets to electronic wallets.

Yes, we can, but AI can also create a convincing copy of a ticket. Apple wallet isn't an iPhone version of a physical wallet - where you store money, cards, pics of your kids, spare plectrum, gig tickets, etc. It's a security-verified app which means you can only put things in it if they have been authenticated. This has to be done by the ticket issuer; they have to create an app that talks to the Wallet app and authenticates tickets before they are added. If you want to be able to use Wallet with your ticket then you need to get in touch with whoever issued the ticket.

Meanwhile - just add it to a Note and then pin the note so it's handily always at the top. Me? I print tickets. I've see too many arguments with door staff about flat batteries, no internet and such to risk missing a show cos my phone's playing up.
