What MacBook should I get?

I haven’t owned any sort of laptop for a while after buying my iPad just under 2 years ago since I felt the need I didn’t really need one. However, recently, I’ve found that I’d like the use of one again, but when I have had laptops in the past they’ve all been windows. I now own an iPhone, Apple Watch & iPad and would like them all to be linked therefore would like a MacBook. My question is, which one should I get? I’m not sure if I’d like a PC or laptop but don’t really know the differences between them. I’d like to use my MacBook for writing (Microsoft word), editing (I’d like to start my own YouTube channel) and various other things that require a big sceeen. I’m quite artsy so would like to use it for projects like that too. Can someone please help with recommendations for the right option? Also not too pricy please haha

PC = Personal Computer. Many people use the term to refer to computers with Intel or AMD processors that are running Microsoft Windows, although strictly speaking a Mac is a personal computer.

Windows PCs and Macs are different platforms – and software built for one is not compatible with the other. You can get Microsoft Word both for Windows PCs and for Macs – but that is because Microsoft has built versions of Word both for Windows and for macOS. If you bought a Windows PC, you'd need to install the Windows version; and if you bought a Mac, you'd need to install the Mac version.

A laptop is a portable computer that can operate off battery power. A laptop could be a Windows laptop, a Mac laptop, or something else (like a ChromeBook).
