I have a brand new M4 Mac Mini. Home Sharing will not activate. I moved the slider to the right on media sharing and clicked the i button. I entered my apple id and password. When the menu box pops up it still says media sharing off and won't let me making any changes. No green light. How do I fix this?

So with support this issue was resolved. It turns out that when you set up the computer using your apple id, it doesn't just automatically log you into everything with your account , even though you set it up using said ID. Weird. So I had to authorize music to use the computer in the music app, (account then authorize) before home sharing could be enabled in system settings menu.
