Can I use Mastercard Gift Card to buy a replacement AirPod?

So I lost my right AirPod a little while ago and I want to purchase a replacement. I have 3 Mastercard gift cards I would like to use, so would I be able to with this purchase? If so, would I be able to do it online, if not, can I do it in the Apple Store? Or, would I even be able to use my Apple account balance that I have? I asked someone I know whether or not I could and they said I wouldn’t be able to because you cannot use Apple account balance on a service since the replacement bud is considered a service. Is this true? Thanks
