I have a new Mac mini with the M4 pro chip and am looking for an external cd drive that works with so I can transfer photos and music onto it. Any recommendations?

+1 Most any aftermarket DVD/CD drive will work with your Mac.
If I needed to replace one of my current LG DVD/CD drives. I would replace it with one that has a USB-C connecter, so that I would no longer need to use a USB-C to USB-A adapter.

Look on Amazon. There are many DCD burners at £15 upwards and they will all work.
