How can I send iPhone text message alerts to speaker while paired with hearing aids?

My wife & I share 2 iPhones (instead of his & hers). She is frustrated that she cannot hear when we get a text because the alert is sent only to my hearing aids via bluetooth. How to fix?

iPhone text to external repeating bell I'm looking for help creating a system whereby a text to an iPhone number would sound and external bell ring over WiFi so that a big area could be alerted to a text received by that phone? Anybody got any ideas of potential solutions? Or maybe an external speaker that could remotely sound the text alert loudly over a wide area?
