Any issues with the latest iOS 18.3.2 software?
How’s the latest iOS 18.3.2 update? Did anyone face issues with it?
Just wanted to know before I update my iPhone 13 Pro Max.
iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 18

The camera on my iPhone 15 just shows a black screen since updating to iOS 18.3.2.
Have try all the resets suggested without success. Going to Apple Store (which is 50 miles away!) this weekend to see if they can help.

I have a feeling we're not conversing on the same issue, but point me to how to turn off that feature.
OK, since you seem to be incapable of reading what I already posted, I will repeat myself, adding additional clarifications. is this clear now?:
To turn off Categories (and their associated folders):
Yes I had categories off and their respective folder. I also turned off show contact photos. So what happens after I login to check my mail on my pc there are never any extra folder before, during or after. Only on my phone does it show up and everything that I’ve done on the pc shows up in these folders on my phone. If I log back in on my pc those folders plate not there.
And this is on my pc, as you see those extra folders are not there. So the two are not syncing properly ever since 18.3.2, and 18.4 did not fix. I’ve turned my phone off for over an hour to reboot it and no luck.
How do you know the carrier didn’t update your SIM card? SIM card updates are pushed OTA by the carrier and have nothing to do with the device manufacture or OS developer.
I see, thanks Jeff and Lobster. Much appreciated.
I know. I wonder if it’s related to carrier implementation of RCS on iPhones and Text messaging systems.
Plenty of options to explore for an eager community member experiencing issues.
That’s only one screen in Messages Settings. This not an easy issue to resolve remotely. More suitable for a hands on approach with an Apple Store Genius, in my experience.
The why questions generally require the engineers to answer. There is not a path for consumers to directly talk with the engineers. Why? It doesn’t make sense to have people making mid 6 figures answering support calls. It never happens in the general context of customer support. General support team members will escalate issues to higher levels of support until it eventually reaches a senior support engineer talking to engineers.
Now with that said, the screen before the one I shared has relevant switches/buttons to try as well.
Who is your carrier?
This is not an issue. The phone will charge to 100% "occasionally". This is normal and expected. When I tried Charge Limits, my phone would sometimes charge to 100% several times a month.
Here is what Apple says:
Multiple apps keep crashing. Phone freezes numerous times a day. This is actually impeding my ability to do my job! So frustrating!!!!!

Last time I checked no one has ever died from skipping an update. Until they fix the issue, I don’t see the harm in waiting for the next one.
No issues As of now ,but aware few users have posted they got yellow/white death screen after updating.
doesn't know is it true or not ?
But keeping the device to latest update is best as it removes all the bugs in previous OS
Every update will have issues for some users. There’s a multitude of reasons, but many are the result of third party apps not being updated by their developers or optimized for the latest iOS versions. This is out of Apple’s control. It’s just a fact of ever changing technology. Expecting perfection is not a realistic expectation. Instead, determine the few apps and services that are mission critical and confirm with users that they are optional and you can carry out your mission critical daily tasks.

I believe it is very much Apple’s issue. It is related to their messaging App. It has nothing to do with perfection. It has to do with them recognizing the update has flaws and they need to be fixed. We, as users expect our services to be provided without interruption when we did nothing to change those services.
You're making a claim there is an issue with the Messages App? I'm on iOS 18.3.2 on multiple iPhones and iPadOS 18.3.2 on multiple iPads and yet I have experienced absolutely no issues with messages. No one I know who is on iOS 18.3.2 is having any issues with Messages. To assume everyone who is using iOS 18.3.2 is having the same issue as you is like visiting a hospital, filled with sick people and coming to the conclusion everyone is sick.
Instead, why not tell us what issues you may be having and we may be able to help you.
Yes, there is a problem with 18.3.2. I can receive group texts but I cannot send in that group. I can send to individuals separately but not in the group. It did not show up as an issue until the 18.3.2 update.
I am having this problem (initiating a group text), also. I go to Messages, then "Lists" (groups of contacts) and choose the list, but then there's a dead end and you just have to Cancel. I can still manually send group texts, but can't use the "Lists" feature to auto-populate the recipients line.
Other than this, no issues with iOS 18.3.2, so far.
I'm using a Pro Max 16, but I don't use a lot of apps on it. Mostly the basics.

Is there something wrong here? 😊
