Why is my new iPhone 16e not recognized by iTunes and missing from Apple purchases?

In addition ITunes does not recognize the IPhone 16e. My Desktop computer recognizes the 16e when USB plugged in but ITunes doesn't. My IPod is fine with the same USB and ITunes. I only discovered the U2 album when I was trying to figure out why I couldn't connect to ITunes.

That's strange. I just discovered that this IPhone is not showing as one of my Apple purchases. However I definitely purchased it through the Apple Canada website and it was charged on my credit card.
