Retrieving documents / data from MacBook Air that is unusable

macbook air is unusable but hooked to my apple account. but not listed as backed up up to my iCloud but I can see something’s that were on there. there are files i need to retrieve what can I do any way to access hard drive remotely or how to retrieve them by removing hard drive

All Documents are Missing I erased all the files on an old MAC and discarded the machine. I went to open documents on the new machine and they are all gone. I followed steps on iCloud to recover old files and nothing is there. I never went through a process to permanently delete anything on iCloud prior to discarding the old machine. Thoughts?

i have deleted files form my macbook. i have icloud. how can i recover? i accidentally deleted some files form my macbook pro. since I have icloud, i need to know how to recover my files.
