iPhone calendar alerts won’t allow second alert amymore

All of a sudden my iPhone calendar app will not allow me to put in a second alert. It shows a second alert as an option when I’m scheduling but when I go to choose a time for the alert it will not set it and simply reverts back to Second Alert > None. What’s the deal?! It works fine until just recently

Calendar alerts When I set an alert in calendar, it switches them. For example, if you set the first alert to 1 hour before, then set second alert to 10 minutes before, it switches the first alert to 10 minutes before and the second alert becomes 1 hour before. I can see from previous posts on here that this has been an issue for many years. It’s about time apple fixed it.😡
