iMessage & SMS not going through to 2 contacts repeatedly

I’ve gone through all the support forums. I’ve deleted the text thread, started new ones, etc. If I’m able to start a text thread on my iPad Pro, and go to reply (after they’ve responded) not only can I not respond, often there’s not even a field to type text into.

Anyone else having this problem?

I have no problem with the same conversation on my iPhone SE running 15.8.3. The contacts are synced on both devices. There are many other conversations that have no issues on either device. The only clue is this started when one of the other people texted me while I was driving outside my area code. We have all deleted the conversation and started new but same problem. Opened and closed iMessage many times. Rebooted the iPad by power off and on. No luck.

Messages in iMessage are not loading for certain contacts on iPhone Certain contact messages aren't loading. Only a select few of my connects randomly start “typing” once I select them and it will not show past messages and will show loading on the top. I have restarted my phone multiple times turned messages off and so on nothing has worked and it has been months of this glitch. It is annoying because now I cannot view texts from these people because they disappear once I read them once or reply. Any help? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

iMessage buffering One of my iMessage contacts continually buffers and prior messages disappear when a new message sent so there is no thread
