reset a column of checkboxes in iOS numbers

I have an iOS Numbers spreadsheet with a column of 28 checkboxes that I would like to be able to reset easily, so that the entire column is unchecked, like with one tap in another checkbox, as opposed to having to uncheck each checked checkbox, in the column of 28 checkboxes. In iOS Numbers. Not in Mac Numbers.

I am aware that this is easily done with MAC Numbers, i.e., by selecting the entire column, and then typing a zero. I already know how to select an entire column, in MAC numbers (or in iOS Numbers), and I already know how to reset that entire column, in Mac Numbers, by typing a zero. There does not appear to be a way to do the same thing in iOS Numbers. By typing a zero.

I was wondering if there is some way to do this now, with iOS Numbers, with the recent function additions, if anybody has figured this out. thanks

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 18

I don't think the recent update to Numbers is going to change anything in this respect. New functions were added, but nothing changes the way checkboxes or the UI works.

The problem you're having relates to interface - the fact that the on-screen keyboard disappears when multiple cells are selected, hence you can't type 1 or 0 to change the checkbox.

FWIW, if you use an external keyboard (whether an Apple Magic Keyboard, a Bluetooth keyboard, or a wired keyboard), the 1/0 key press does work, just like on MacOS, so that might be your recourse.
