What should I do if left AirPod Pro won't charge?

my left airpod pro is not connecting to my case, when my case is charging with both airpod's inside, it shows the percentage for the case and the right airpod but no the left. then when i place it in my ear it doesn't connect to my phone. i have tried resetting it, disconnecting it from my phone and even having my phone forget the device but nothing is working. the airpod case is at a 100% charge and so is the right airpod. i don't know what is wrong with it or how to fix it.
