Why can’t I receive calls and messages after moving my old number to Smarty?

Cannot receive phone calls or messages after transferring my old number to smarty

have tried all suggestions but know it’s something i have to amend in settings as my phone number not showing there though i have tried to add it

Have you inserted the Smarty SIM card into your iPhone after transferring the number?

I'm sorry and I'm sure it's frustrating, but Apple has nothing to do with Smarty. Why you can't speak with them, I couldn't possibly know. I'm going to guess they are a low cost MVNO, which usually means less services than primary carriers.
