Apple Pay Launch Date in Bangladesh?

Hi,

I wanted to ask when Apple Pay will be launched in Bangladesh? Many iPhone users here including me are eagerly waiting for this service as it would make daily transactions much easier and more secure Bangladesh has a rapidly growing number of iPhone users and introducing Apple Pay here would be a great addition as Google Wallet/Pay has already launched here dated 24 June, 2025. Can you please provide any updates or timelines for its availability in our country?

There has been no announcement. You will know when it is available and there certainly won't be updates or timelines given until it is ready to launch. You can send feedback to Apple to express your desire to use Apple Pay:

https://digibanglatech.news/154960 well a media stated that the CEO of City Bank, Bangladesh who launched Google wallet in Bangladesh for the first time in history; also expressed that they are working to bring Apple pay to Bangladesh in near future.

That - unfortunately - can be a major impediment to roll-out in areas where corruption is endemic.
