Cannot login to Apple Music using security key on Android device.

When my Apple ID has a security key added, the device verification code is no longer available.

However, Android devices do not have a security key login option, so cannot login in this case apple music.

That is correct.

No key = no access from an untrusted device

6-digit TOTP 2FA Verification Codes are disabled when Hardware Security Keys are used to protect an Apple Account.

Perhaps Google will develop an android solution.
