Please fix the iOS 26 issues, I use this phone for trading, I can’t handle the overheating and lagging, I already lost loads amounts of money because of the lagging

No one here can fix anything. This is a user to user only forum. If your phone is overheating and lagging, have you checked your Battery Health? Both issues you've described are symptomatic of a battery which may be failing, not necessarily an issue with iOS 26. Open Settings > Battery > Battery Health - if your battery health is close to or below 80%, the battery in your iPhone needs to be replaced, which will solve heating and lagging issues.

What's your point? Others have clearly had the same issue. Glad you seem to have escaped this bug.

Like I wrote, there are way too many bugs and issues to even keep track of. This is the worst of Apple UIs that I can recall and I've been an Apple customer since the 90s. Most users expect more from Apple, which is why we are so unhappy. Clearly Apple has taken its users for granted and dumped a complete garbage UI on us without any consideration at all.

Out of roughly 500 million how many others? Clearly not many, or there would be tens of thousands of posts about it and the tech trade press would have a heyday. With that many users, no matter what problem you have there are bound to be a few others with the same symptoms (which probably aren’t even the same problem).

Since I updated to iOS 26 my iPhone stopped to make or receive calls from any app, not even phone app, I’ve called Apple support and they said that they know about this issue but they provide any help, as last resort they’ve suggested to erase my iPhone but the iPhone freeze when I tried to erase my iPhone, this is my 3rd week since I made or receive calls, calendar app, messages app, email app, contacts app are in white screen and cannot use.

Point taken that you don’t represent Apple. Since posting I’ve found dozens and dozens of postings elsewhere and YouTube videos of people experiencing problems with CarPlay and this iOS update. I’m glad you’re not experiencing these bugs but clearly I’m not the only one raising concerns about them. The fact that so many are posting videos about these problems speaks for itself.

It seems like most of the problems I’ve seen people mentioning on Reddit and other platforms involves simply not being able to connect via wireless CarPlay after the update. My problems were far more random and occurred after I had successfully connected. Teams works fine but my phone functions are toast. I guess it’s possible the my car has issues with iOS26 which obviously Apple doesn’t control, but yet it worked fine yesterday on 18.x and today I was unable to use my phone over CarPlay at all on 26.0.1 because of a bunch of odd performance issues. I’ll figure it out but wish I could easily revert to 18 without starting over and then I’d just wait for a while before trying 26 again. Thx for your input, sincerely.

i had a iPhone 11 Pro Max. I used wired apple carplay on my 2018 mustang Gt sync 3 and never had and freezing or dropping problems. I got a new iPhone 17 pro max and bought a USB A to USB C from anker to connect it to my car. My CarPlay always freezes randomly when I’m listening to music or on a call. The screen freezes and I can’t select anything on the screen. So I have to disconnect my phone and try to connect it again! Does anyone have this same problem?! I turned off my widgets so hopefully that helps. I will be checking tomorrow. Thank you

Hi - I have an IPhone 14 at IOS 26.0.1. Today the camera has started blacking out so I can’t take pictures. I’ve rebooted multiple times. It was telling me in settings that the phone didn’t recognize the camera (I have never changed it). Now that message is gone but still no picture in camera. I used it earlier today with no problem

That sounds like your camera hardware has failed. You can try restarting your iPhone, and if that doesn’t fix it contact Apple support for an evaluation. Use either the Apple Support app (best choice) or the Support link at top and bottom of this page.

Hey man, this is a pure iOS 26 problem. I got a battery replacement a few months ago, and the battery capacity is 100%, yet the phone still lags and overheats. This has only started since I updated to iOS 26. I’ve had home screen freezes where I have to restart my phone. The unlocking takes up to 5 seconds compared to the instant unlocking of the previous OS. It’s as simple as this: Apple released a really bad OS. They could’ve done so much better, but it was a huge flop. The video player UI is disgusting, and the search history is gone from the Safari app. These are just a handful of problems with the iPhone OS. If we go to the Mac OS, there are a bunch of more problems and things that they sadly messed up.

iOS 26. It listens to my streaming services and sometimes it obeys commands of the actors. For example when someone said search for a new CEO a drop-down menu appeared in front of the screen and it searched for a CEO.

Words like "Serious", "Shirley", "Cereal", or other ones similar to Siri will activate it on your device. You can reduce that chance by changing your activation word to "Hey Siri". That is not specific to iOS 26 and it has always been that way. When you set up iOS 26, you may have changed the activation word to Siri if you previously used Hey Siri. The same thing happens to Amazon Alexa users whenever it hears a word like "Alexis". It wreaks havoc for families with someone named Alexis.
