How to remove white borders around icons on iPhone 15 after update?

Following the brand new update to my iPhone 15 , the new icon layout puts a white border round my icons. I had spent ages making icons without borders that floated on my plain background . It says the new update is fully changeable but HOW do I get rid of these new bordered icons

Please follow this path,

iPhone > Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Increase Contrast > disable, if it is disabled, momentarily enable and then disable and restart iPhone.

ok, you like it. But some do not, and it’s ok to complain about this. People give a lot of money for something they expect, or are familiar with. All your advice in honor, no one can „really“ tune down the aggressive oversharpen look. Especially the look of the icons. Why not the possibility to change to flat ui Theme besides the new themes? Almost any device on market allows to change the ui theme. It’s very sad.

What a weird response. "Learn to appreciate it" lol and saying it's not bad. I haven't met a single person that likes it. I've talked to tons of friends from tech, finance, teachers, leadership, etc, people are either indifferent or absolutely hate it.

It's an abomonation -- and your response of telling people not to worry about it and to appreciate it is super strange. Almost like you were told to try to sway the narrative around it by apple. Do you work there or have brand partnerships with them?
