trust store version is bogus 2025072000 and trust asset version 1009. Running into lots of AppStore update problems,download size is 12 mb. Tried looking up version of AppStore unresponsive. Developers website&report a problem unresponsive on the AppStore app.

That is the correct Trust Store Version and is not bogus with iOS 26. Don't know what you mean by "Tried looking up version of AppStore unresponsive", or if that was a reference to the Trust Store Version you thought was bogus. If you are using a VPN, remove it. Simply turning them off does not stop the network conflicts if that is the issue. It may help to visualize what issue you are having with a screenshot where we may also be able to compare the results.
Not sure why there is this immediate conclusion that people have a fake Trust Store version. I do know there is quite a bit of false information going around on Reddit and TikTok, that is more focused on conspiracy theories and scaring users. The result is upvotes and shares, which is actually the only purpose for those posts. Once you get hooked on the algorithm chain, you will be served up with plenty more.
