mouse right and middle click stop working after waking laptop

For the last few days every time I wake my laptop (M4 air) from sleep both the middle mouse click and right mouse click function of any external mouse stops working until system reboot, and then the next time the laptop sleeps the function breaks again.

I have tried with several different mice, wired USB via dock, wired directly with USB C, wireless with bluetooth or dongle.

The only mouse that retains the secondary click function in any regard is my magic mouse.

But my wired mouse from Glorious and Logitech, bluetooth/usb c dongle wireless Protoarc, wireless damoshark and second Logitech bluetooth pebble mouse all lose secondary and middle mouse click function until I reboot laptop.

This will happen even when I have nothing running at the time the laptop sleeps.

I tried updating to latest version of sequoia, issue persisted.

Then tried updating to Tahoe after that and it still persists.

Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated, as this problem is driving me nuts.

Hi TheLoonMaster,

In macOS settings, I would double-check to make sure secondary click is bound to "click right side" under Settings -> Mouse.

Additionally, I would check and see if you have any third-party software configuration tools installed that may change the bindings on any of your mice, such as Logitech G Hub or Glorious CORE. If they don't have any weird bindings or configurations, I would go as far as to uninstall just to be sure!

Hope this helps!

Warm regards,
