I updated to 26.0.1 when it came out and Today the Files app as well as Calendar app show no results for anything I type. I’ve restarted the phone already. Has anyone else had this issue?

I briefly disabled, then enabled again iCloud-Calendar in Systempreferences > Apple Account > iCloud. Calendar Search then worked again.
For Files, were they located on the iPhone or in iCloud? I also have some from my OneDrive from work. Instead of reinstalling the Files app, maybe check on the sync status.
For my Calendar, I use iCloud and Exchange, and both are syncing fine and as I said earlier, search is working as well.
So update…. After turning off my phone for about 5 mins and turning off iCloud Calender Sync it looks like the indexing for Files fixed itself. Calendar also finds all events when I search now. I do not believe either thing u tried fixed the issue. I think it resolved on its own because it took time. it wasn’t fixed immediately.
I have the same issue, things sync fine, but when I run a search, there are no results even though they are clearly there. Seems like an indexing issue? Hopefully Apple is working on a patch.
I completely agree. After a day or 2 it was resolved. I hope the same thing happens for you.
The search functions in my Calendar and Files is working, I just tested it. I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max, with iOS 26.0.1. How are you managing your Calendar? Do you use iCloud, or another email account?
I am currently using 3 different accounts with Calendar. Exchange, Gmail and Yahoo.
In Files all of the folders and files I had tagged with colors are missing. But I can manually go and find them. I deleted the files app and reinstalled it. Didn’t fix it
Everything is syncing fine it’s the search that’s not working. When I search for thing i see currently on my calendar. Nothing shows. Same with Files.
