I have a brand new iPhone 17 pro and it keeps disconnecting from CarPlay. I did the update to IOS26.01, and I’ve swapped out cables, tried all the ports and disconnected the Bluetooth from both phone and vehicle…. This is really bad because I rely on hands free talking, text and the navigation for work. Really regretting upgrading right now. Any suggestions???

We just have to wait and hope that the next update will really solve the bug.
I tried everything with two different 17 Pro and still the same. iOS 26.0.1 didn't fix it...

I have the same issue. it disconnects and it freezes the system in my car. I have to turn off the car to reset my CarPlay.
Same here. Also freezing issues with camera. About ready to go back to my iPhone 15 pro. This is horrible.
