calendar event - no invite sent when participants are not recorded in Contacts app

Hi,

I create an event in Calendar and I want to invite participants who are not recorded into Contacts app.

So I type the email addresses in the field "add participants".

-> No invite is sent to any participant

If all participants are recorded into Contacts app, then everything goes well, the invites are sent.

Is it a known bug ? or a config issue on my side ?

is there a workaround ?
