I keep being asked for my password for my Google internet account on my MacBook Air M4

I have seen this issue on the Apple support community and did not see a resolution that worked for the previous asks

I have tried multiple times to re-enter my Google credentials within the System Preferences on the MacBook...

Does not solve the problem...

I wonder if it has something to do with me using fingerprint within the MacOS for google authentication?

At any rate - it is pretty annoying as I get the message daily (and in some cases each time I open the lid of the Mac...)

The email actually works fine -- just the annoying message popups
