Iphone 16 Pro Max IOS 26 carplay overlapping issues

When streaming music to my car the last 10-20 seconds of a song will overlap with the beginning of the next song. I have "hard" reset both my phone and my cars infotainment system. I have "forgot" my device and the car and paired them again. This only started after "updating" to IOS26.
