iPad Apple Notes App Drawing Issue

This happens when creating any new Note. If I open the same note on my iPhone Apple Notes, I can draw over this "void" area and it will be displayed properly. I tried to remove iPad Apple Notes app and reinstall but the same issue. Here is a screen shot from the iPad Apple Notes of the issue. I added the grid to highlight the issue but it doesn' matter if it is there or not. The iPad is an iPad Pro (11-inch); iPadOS Version 18.3.2
