Notes are auto-naming on iPad after iPadOS 26 update

so i'm a student that uses the ipad a lot and especially the notes app on the ipad, before ipados 26 i mainly put an image on top of the note and then write few sentences before the ipad recognises it as a text and then auto generates a name (using the first few words) and i can rename it as i like, but after the ipados26 i use a picture and the notes app auto generates the name (the picture's title) and it sticks with it and i cant change it, is there a solution i could use or there is a problem i should wait the fixing (im a medical student and i really need this thing to be sorted out because as i mentioned it's crucial for my studies)

I confirm what you are seeing in iPadOS 26: the image file name is used as the note title if no text is entered before the image. I doubt this will change in future versions of iPadOS.

I can only see 2 options:

Rename the image (its file name) with the correct title before inserting it into a note.
Insert text before the image in the note. the inserted text would become the note title. And you can add more text after the image.
