"Recently Played" is not updating play history

Music played on Mac is not updating play history in "Recently Played". This list does update when music is played from iOS devices and HomePods. I've signed in and out of Apple Music, deauthorized and reauthorized "this computer", and preformed reboots in normal and safe modes, but no luck.

Searches on this issue indicates other users have seen this issue, but I haven't found any fixes. Anyone have any thoughts?
