Apple can’t or won’t fix my iTunes Account
I’ve had this issue in the past but it’s been resolved. This time it cannot be fixed and I’m stuck in a cycle that is inappropriate for a company of this stature. My account has always been in good standing for over a decade.
The specifics: When I use cash to load $ onto my iTunes account I am blocked from making in app purchases. I contact support, wait 48 hours, get my account unlocked and it works until the next time I load $.
Sunday marked the 3rd block in 6 days and I finally talked to a Senior Advisor who effectively told me I was out of luck in so many words. They told me that they might be able to submit a ticket to Engineering but in similar cases there was no fix.
Support does not care and the Junior Advisor even went so far as to interrogate me on why I prefer gift cards over using my bank account. I’m ******. Fwiw, I have my debit card linked but I still prefer to use cash. It’s very simple.
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? I’ve done nothing wrong and every single support person tells me “it’s automated, wait 48 hours, blah, blah, blah”. They don’t even listen when I tell them that this is happening EVERY TIME I ADD MONEY. I’m sick of the run around and dealing with people who simply do not care to help me.
Im at my wits end here. I’m currently blocked for the FOURTH time in NINE DAYS. Blocked 48 hours, unlock until I add money, blocked again, rinse and repeat. Sorry for the complaining. Thanks for reading.
