I need to switch off the notification ‘An older version of this document is available’ when I use the Files app.

I don’t know why this notification is necessary. It’s a distraction which takes up a lot of the screen. If I cancel it in portrait mode it reappears when I rotate my phone to read the document in landscape. If I click on the notification it opens the email containing the document I downloaded, so it goes round in a circle for all documents indefinitely. I can’t edit a document I didn’t create, so the process seems to have no purpose. Is there a setting to switch these notifications off?
