Why Apple should allow the option of viewing the password during typing
Apple doesn't allow you to see the Mac's password as you type it. I understand the logic here, but allowing it to be seen when alone is not a security risk.
Today I wasted a lot of time because of this feature.
My wife's MacBook would not accept her long password. It was something like "Men vad skal Jokkmokk &2."
After many frustrating attempts and much investigating, I finally discovered that the keyboard had been left in the Swedish language configuration, in which the key for "&" produced a "/" character.
