School iPad 9th generation stuck in bootloop

I have an issue with a school iPad. This iPad (issued by NYCDOE) is stuck in a bootloop. What I mean is the Apple logo shows up like 10 times, and it boots up, THEN after 1 minute of it being on, it automatically turns off, and goes back in its bootloop. I don’t have access to a computer, but could bring to a school IT staff. You guys have any idea on this? This iPad is the 9th Generation, running 18.3.1. I’m thinking this is a motherboard fail.
