Wired CarPlay not working on iPhone 16 Pro after iOS 26.0.1 update

i drive a 2022 Prius that only has wired CarPlay, when I updated my iPhone 16 pro to iOS 26.0.1 my CarPlay suddenly stopped working, it worked fine with 26 but no longer works with 26.1 on my iPhone. It is working fine on my partners iPhone 17 pro max.

Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? My car is fully up to date on it’s system upgrades as well.
