Apple Music Translate Feature Not Working

I regularly listen to Japanese music, and thus when the new IOS update announced the translation update I was excited. However even though my language is English, it doesn’t translate it (English to Japanese is supposedly a supported language). How can I fix it? My best guess is that since I’m not from a region that speaks English (even though my language is English) it doesn’t work? Apart from that I have no idea why it may be happening. Is that why and if so how can I work around it?
