There are so many deficiences with the Notes.app, I won't list them all here, but clearly Apple does not want to invest any time in this app, though many of us are passionate about using it. Please make the app Open Source, so that we can remediate bugs and continue enhancing the product. #Notes #2025

Apple is not going to relinquish their source code to anyone. The correct step is to look for a better app on the App Store, of which there are quite a few.
Or, since it appears you're a developer, write one.
And also use the feedback link provided for any feature requests or bug reporting. I am continuing to see updates made in the Notes app on both iOS and Mac devices. This has included linking to other Notes, Math Results, and the recently released Summarize, Proofreading, and Writing Tools with Apple Intelligence.
Would you please make Notes.app open source?
