AppleCare+ proof of coverage sent to buyer instead of owner

I bought my friend an Apple Watch, she registered it with her ICloud and everything. I bought her Apple Care Plus through the product series number on the receipt and everything went to my email including the proof of coverage. Do I need to forward it to her or does it also send one to the owner's ICloud email since she was the one who registered it.
