iOS update changed CarPlay display to three-way split screen

I noticed was one of the two last updates to iOS instead of only being able to use a two split screen for say, music and maps. It is a three-way split screen two of the displays are for the maps one for music not letting you view the song or the length. Is there a way you could be changed back two way split screen?
