Find My app keeping’s dropping husbands location

My husband and both have the Find My app and set up on our devices. We have iPhones, iPads, and laptops and are set up with Family on our phones. Every. Couple of weeks or so his Find My information shows “Not Sharing Location” on my devices. He has to re-set Find My on his phone, I get his Meagan and agree and we are able to share again, but then in a couple of weeks or so it stops sharing location again. And we have to set it up again

what is going on that it keeps dropping? Husband thinks it has to do when he deletes old messages from me, but we are not sure.
