After updating to iOS 26 CarPlay Apple Maps defaults to “Alerts Only” instead of “Unmuted”
After updating to iOS 26.1 there are a litany of bugs, including when hooked up to CarPlay the turn by turn directions default to muted and no matter how many times I change it to muted, it keeps going back to “alerts only”.
