Replacement Apple Watch Series 10 restarts, gets hot, and drains battery quickly

I have an Apple Watch 10 that’s not even a year old and I started having problems with it rebooting, getting hot and the battery dies quickly. I reached out to Apple and after a diagnostic test it was determined that the problem was the watch and it needed to be replaced. I received a replacement apple watch last week and now the replacement watch is doing the exact same thing; getting hot, keeps restarting and the battery dies extremely fast. i can go from a fully charged watch to completely dead in an hour because of the constant restarts. i have removed all third party apps and only the native apps remain on the watch. I didn’t have these issues before updating to OS26.

Is anyone else having this issue?

You should contact Apple again and ask them to diagnose your replaced watch again.

Are you using the original USB cable that came with the watch and at least an 20W Apple power adapter?

Also try to erase the watch and set it up as a new device, without using the latest backup, to rule out defective data from the backup.

In most cases erasing the watch and pairing it again to your iPhone will bring back the battery life to normal.

To be sure your backup data does not contain the issue, set it up as a new device first and test it.

You will only lose the watch faces you have created and might have to add the cards to your wallet again.

My watch series 10 has been getting hot and has left scaring on my wrist. I use the original apple charger. Reached out to Apple support and it took two days, after a diagnotics test and uploading photos of the watch and my wrist, for them to call back and tell me I have to bring it in. Have to wait for an appointment, no priority service. Have apple one and applecare. Watch is ony 6 months old. VERY DISSAPPOINTED WITH APPLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been a apple watch user for years, this is my third watch.
