Synching Apple Journal between Devices

I have an iPhone 12 Mini running iOS26 and a M1 Pro Mac Studio running Tahoe 26.2.

I created an Apple Journal on my iPhone on a recent trip to Greece. I returning I installed Apple Journal on my Mac.

When synching the iPhone version does not seem to make it to iCloud and therefor not to the Mac.

Entries on the Mac make it to the iPhone.

Tried all the AI advice about checking toggles and Apple IDs but nothing seem to work.

Any ideas?
