G|Drive external not mounting on MacBook Air M2 help me Tom Cruise
External drive won't mount
MacBook Air M2 2022, Sequoia 15.6, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD.
G|Drive mobile USB-C 1TB
A friend ripped some old DV tapes to files onto this drive. Disk Utility shows "disk4s2 USB External Physical Volume . Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
Mount Point: Not Mounted
Capacity: 999.86 GB
Available: zero kb [that is kind of weird, don't think I believe that]
Used: --
Type: USB External Physical Volume
Owners: Disabled
Connection: USB [also a bit odd that the drive says USB-C in the name but the cable which attaches has a USB-A end]
Device: disk4s2
Info also oddly shows "Journaled: No" even though the format shows as Journaled.
Mount is not grayed out but does nothing.
MacBook Air, macOS 15.6
