Shift and Command keys not working in visionOS native apps with keyboard sharing on Vision Pro

When I have my Vision Pro connected to my Mac for a virtual monitor, and try to use the keyboard sharing feature to type in a visionOS native app, the shift keys don't do anything. The command key also doesn't do anything, which I believe it's supposed to.

Both the Vision Pro and Mac are running their respective 26.1 OSes. I've tried rebooting both the Vision Pro and Mac, that didn't make any difference. Those keys of course still work fine on the Mac itself, and oddly the Caps Lock key does work correctly in visionOS native apps.

Stranger still, I'm like 90% certain it worked fine when I first discovered the feature, but some time later the same day the shift and command keys stopped working and nothing I've tried so far has brought them back.
