AppStore credit card phishing attempt

I recently purchased a game through AppStore for my MacBook Air M3. The payment is based on my registered credit card and went seamlessly. But then just some hours later I've got a phishing attempt from <od*******.biglobe.ne.jp> via my official Apple email account with following contents: "Apple Pay is currently suspended on this device. Complete card verification to resume Apple Pay services." Of course I did not respond in any way to this fraud. However, I never received any such phishing attempt before, and I asking myself if there is a problem with Apple (may'b internally) leaking Apple account email addresses !?

Hm, AFAIK the communication between my AppStore client and the AppStore server is encrypted. However, after the purchase I received an invoice sent by Apple to my email account, which unfortunately is in plain text, and could have eavesdropped by someone. So Apple is somehow responsible in leaking account email addresses by sending such sensitive/private information via insecure email channels. I would recommend Apple to store the invoice, and other sensitive/private communication somewhere in the Apple's user account. Apple just needs to send the user a download link to the document, which can only be accessed when the user logs into his account.

Here in Switzerland many online-shops, never send such sensitive/private information via email. They just inform you via email that a new document, or some information can be downloaded from the shops users account. For this the user first has to login into the shop's user account (usually secured by https), and can then access the document or information via the secure https connection. Hope Apple reads this and may learn something ;-)
