Ever since upgrading to iPhone 17 pro and iOS 26, location based reminders are no longer working and the "always on" option for reminders app is missing. Also...precise location is unreliable when navigating with Apple Maps in CarPlay. I work on a large campus. I set navigation to my parking location and it reroutes to the main entrance which is on the opposite side of the campus.

I use location based reminders almost every day. But since IOS 26, my iphone 17 does not pop up with a notification when I arrive home or anywhere else for that matter. It will work if I ask my phone to remind me when I leave my car. That does not help me when I want to be reminded when I get home because when I am running errands, I am in and out of my car and I don't want the notification then. Someone please help. I have gone to the apple store and I have had an apple phone for many years and I know what settings to enable and what to disable to have this work and it just isn't working anymore.
