Apple TV app not connecting on Virgin 360 box

I have been using Apple TV on my Virgin 360 with no problem until yesterday. Now when I select the Apple TV app, it shows the Apple TV logo then displays a box saying it's unable to connect to Apple TV and to check my internet connection. There are two buttons 'Try Again' or 'Exit App'. I know the box is connected to the internet as the Virgin features work as do other streaming services (Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Amazon Prime etc).

I have tried rebooting the Virgin Box but it makes no difference.

How can I fix this problem?

Solved 👍

I fixed this by doing a soft reboot of the Virgin Media 360 box via Settings (the option that doesn’t delete recordings).

After the box restarted, I reconnected to the internet and opened the Apple TV app again - it connected immediately and has worked fine since.

No changes needed to Wi-Fi, Apple ID, or the app itself.
