How can I get the 18.7.2 update for my I phone 12 that currently has 18.7.1? All my other Apple I pads & wife’s I phone 12 had it listed in settings and downloaded ok, but on my phone it is not listed in settings only IOS 26.2 that I do not want!

You checked your iPhone too late. Apple stopped signing 18.7.2 when 26.2 came out on Friday; an unit incapable of it would be showing the update to 18.7.3.

What iOS version was on your iPhone 12 yesterday? Were you already on 18.7.2? If yes, you will NOT be offered iOS 18.7.3.
It really isn't going to make much difference as Apple is no longer signing iOS 18 for devices which are able to run iOS 26.2. It's just not going to happen for you.
If you're not happy about this, complaining here is pointless. This is a user to user only forum. We aren't Apple. We can't give you what you want. And you can be pretty assured Apple won't give you iOS 18.7.3 either.

My iPhone 12 mini offered me iOS 18.7.2, but not 18.7.3. That, and other threads, make it obvious that Apple has shut off the ability to get iOS 18 updates for phones capable of running iOS 26.

This just means your iPad is a 7th Generation iPad, which is NOT capable of being updated to iPadOS 26 at all. Capacity has NOTHING to do with what version iOS a device can run. Your iPhone 12 on the other hand can be updated to iOS 26, so you will NOT be able to update to any iOS 18 version of a device which can run the 26 version.
Wrong again, both of my I Pads are 10TH generation and both like my wife’s I Phone 12 offered the choice of 18.7.2 or OS 26.2. Both & my wife’s I phone 12 updated to 18.7.2 and still all 3 offer to update to OS 26.2. My I phone 12 is being discriminated against.

Not correct!!! I did the updates on Friday to the other 3 apple devices first on Friday morning 7 AM eastern and when done on those 3, I looked to do my I Phone by 7:15 AM eastern Friday .
My wife’s I phone 12 same as mine, on Friday from 18.7.1 to 18.7.2 had the choice either 18.7.2 or OS 26. It still has the ability to update to OS 26.2 in settings just like my two I pads.
