How to prevent frequent Facebook logins on iPad after iPadOS 26.2 update?

I recently did the IOS 26.2 update on my iPad. I now have to login into Facebook.com (I prefer this over the Facebook app) every time I want to access it. I also need a code sent to my phone as well as taking the various steps to prove I am not a robot. I also click Save which states it won’t require me to login in the future but it doesn’t work. Any suggestions on what I can do to solve this annoying problem?
