I was scrolling around while goofing around to find some old flash games and accidentally clicked on a website that took me to a COMPLETELY different kind of website I visit, it was one of those “naughty” websites where it said to download a “naughty” app, I closed off and ignored it before starting to overthink. I deleted my history completely just in case, did I do the right thing? Will I be hacked?

There are no known hack/malware/virus/spyware for a non jailbroken phone, so no.
Accidentally loading a "bad" website is analogous to dialing a wrong number. You did the right thing. No need to overthink.
Phony "tech support" / "ransomware" popups and web pages - Apple Community has a few entertaining examples. Good, bad, indifferent... websites are just websites. Nothing more.
