Add a second number to iPad message app
How do I add a second iphone number (my spouse’s) to my iPad message app? It’s not listed as an option for sending/receiving messages. It is listed in my apple account.
You cannot.
- iPads cannot send other receive messages to numbers except ones tied to an iPhone and set as the one used for messaging.
- You can only message from a number at a time either on an iPhone or an iPad.
- Also, iPads are single user devices, they are not designed to be shared between multiple people so, there is no option to add other people's numbers to them.
